Refund Policy


Book your hotel!

A hotel room block is reserved for #MVJ2022 at Generator DC for $209/night from Wednesday October 5 to Monday October 10.


To book a room, please follow this link or call the hotel directly at (202) 332-9300 and mention the Military Veterans in Journalism Room Block to the reservations agent.


All rooms are King rooms. To request a Twin room with 2 beds, please book your room and then contact Anne at anne.tchangoum@staygenerator.com or call her directly at 202-448-1571 to request a change to a twin room.


All reservations must be made by Thursday, September 14.


Parking is available for an additional $40 per day.

Registration & Refund Policy

Early Bird Tickets are $50 for MVJ members, and cost $75 for non-members. After 8/31, each ticket price rises by $25. Register early and save!


If you’d like to sponsor any registrations and/or travel accommodations, please contact partners@mvj.network.


Members will be required to enter the email associated with their membership to purchase a ticket with the special member pricing.

The deadline to request a refund for your event registration is 10 days before the event for full refund. Requests received after the stated deadline will not be eligible for a refund.


Cancellations will be accepted via email to veritasgroupstaff@gmail.com. Refund requests must include the name of the attendee and/or order number. 


All refund requests must be made by the attendee or credit card holder. Refunds will be credited back to the original credit card used for payment.


*If a refund is allowed, the refund will be less any applicable service charges.

COVID Policy

Before collecting a convention badge, all exhibitors and attendees will be required to demonstrate compliance with ONE of two options: Provide proof of vaccination OR Provide negative results of a COVID-19 PCR test administered in the prior 72 hours.


Wearing a face mask during the event is optional.

 

This policy is subject to change.

 

In-person participants, exhibitors, and vendors agree to self-monitor for signs and symptoms of COVID-19 during and immediately after the event and withdraw from convention participation promptly if they experience any symptoms. Additionally, participants should contact MVJ at partners@mvj.network if they experience symptoms or test positive for COVID-19 within fourteen (14) days of attending the 2022 Convention. 


By registering as an exhibitor or attendee, and by attending the 2022 Convention, you agree to adhere to and be bound by the COVID-19 practices and requirements, including any changes or modifications, announced and implemented by MVJ for the 2022 Convention.

Individuals who fall within any of the categories below should not participate in in-person 2022 Convention events. By attending a MVJ event, you certify that you do not fall into any of the following categories:


> Individuals who are not fully vaccinated (or who have not had a confirmed case of COVID-19 within the last 90 days) AND have come into close contact with someone with COVID-19 within 5 full days preceding the 2022 Convention; or
 
> Individuals who have a positive viral test for COVID-19 within 5 full days preceding the 2022 Convention, regardless of whether or not they have symptoms; or
 

> Individuals with current symptoms of COVID-19 or who have had COVID-19 symptoms within 5 full days preceding the 2022 Convention, including people who are awaiting test results or have not been tested.
